2:256 says there is no compulsion in religion. You cannot force belief into a heart, Allah judges what is inside it. Christians and Jews lived under Muslim rule for over a thousand years and stayed Christian and Jewish. If the sword was the method it did a terrible job.
Open Surah 80. Allah rebukes Muhammad for turning away from a blind man. Nobody rebukes their own god. The Quran calls him a messenger over and over and commands worship of Allah alone. Veneration is not worship and the Quran draws that line itself.
The Quran does not describe itself as only one kind of thing. It describes itself four ways at the same time: as a recitation said out loud, as the actual speech of God, as a written Book, and as a text carried in human memory word for word.
One God sent one message through every prophet, so of course the message matches. The Quran says it openly in 42:13, He ordained for you the same religion He gave Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Consistency from the same Author. Plagiarism requires a different author. You are describing confirmation.
6:114 asks, shall I seek other than Allah as a judge when He is the one who sent down the Book fully detailed? The Quran calls itself complete, detailed and fully explained. If it needed a second book those verses would be false. I take the Quran's word over the compilers.
The Quran gives the times itself. 11:114 establishes prayer at the two ends of the day and the approach of night. 17:78 runs from the sun's decline to the darkness of night plus the dawn recitation. 24:58 names dawn and isha by name. The claim dies the moment you actually read.
The Quran sets the standard in 4:6, marriageable age plus sound judgement before any transfer of responsibility. A child satisfies neither condition. Whatever historical traditions say, I hold the Quran above them. The Book's own standard rules out the interpretation you are pushing.
This objection reveals a method — and once the method is exposed, the entire category of these arguments collapses. Context and actor determine meaning: Arabic, like English, contains words that carry multiple meanings depending entirely on who is performing the action and in what context.
Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:14 describes human embryonic development in a precise sequence: a drop (nutfah), then a clinging substance (alaqah), then a chewed-like lump (mudghah), then bones (izam), then the bones clothed with flesh (lahm). The Quran was revealed in the 7th century — more than a thousand years before the microscope was invented in 1677, before any human being could observe an embryo at these stages.
Christian apologists love to hold up 4:82, where the Quran stakes its own claim: "Then do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it had been from other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction." Good — that is a fair test, and a falsifiable one.
